You're Invited to the 27th Annual Santa Day!

We're celebrating this spirit of Christmas this year with our 27th Annual Santa Day on December 3rd! The fun-filled event is located at the First Team Real Estate office in Huntington Beach - and you're invited!

This year's theme is Monsters inc., and we've been having a blast decorating! For the last several years I've been able to put my artistic hand to use and draw theme characters on the outside windows and they're brought to life by some fun realtor elves with colorful paint. Here's a sneak peek at this year's colorful characters:

If you want to learn more about this fun event, my good friend and three time past client Tonya is joining us today on the blog to share some highlights with us. She attends every year with her two adorable kiddos and has some great insider tips. Read on to learn more!  I'm excited how they turned out!

What is the favorite highlight for the kids at Santa day?

My kids love that one of the Agents covers her door with paper and calls it 'Santa's wish list' they write what they want for Xmas which is very helpful! Every agent goes all out on decorating their desk or office with a different theme, the kids love all the great scenes and voting on them.

What do you like as a parent?

I like that there are so many activities available for both parents and children. There's a train and carolers, treats and prizes, and everyone gets a picture with Santa (which Sarah hand delivers herself!) It's safe to say, there's never a dull moment, even while waiting in line to see Santa.

What's your funniest memory?

I know it's typical but trying to get a photo before the tears start, when they were both little it was a super challenge to move quick before the kids suddenly become frightened of Santa when sitting on his lap...It's actually become a running joke and has made for some hilarious photos. ;)

It's an added fun factor that this event allows dogs! But it can be a bit tough to manage with all the other fun Christmas elements going on, so I would just be aware of that. Otherwise, this Santa Day party is by far one of my favorites in OC. It's family friendly and really gets me in the spirit of the season!

Check out the video from last year, Santa Day 2015:

Thanks so much for joining us on the blog today Tonya! If you live in Orange County and you're looking for some fun holiday festivities, I definitely recommend you stop by First Team Real Estate in Huntington Beach. I'll be there celebrating and would love to meet you. And, like Tonya said, please feel free to bring your kids for a cute photo with Santa, give the elves at the front door my name and I will pay for and deliver the picture directly to you.

If you're able to, print this flyer out and bring it with you to get your free photo!

I will also be posting photos from the event on my Facebook page, so feel free to follow my page, tag yourself, and join in!
